For 30 years, Amanda Hancox worked extensively across Canada as a dancer and an actress in theatre, film, and television. She joined the staff of the Dancer Transition Resource Centre (DTRC) in 2002, and was its Executive Director from 2006 to March of this year. Throughout her tenure at the DTRC, Amanda contributed her expertise to a number of major national and international conferences. Amanda acts as a career transition consultant within and outside the arts community. Additionally, she is Chair of the Dance Committee of the Toronto Arts Council, Secretary of the Board of WorkInCulture, and on the Coordinating Committee for the Cultural Human Resources Council’s initiative Respectful Workplaces in the Arts.
