ABOUT CREATIVE WORKS
Creative Works brings together leaders, visionaries, and aspiring professionals from Canada’s creative community to engage in conversation central to the future of the arts and culture. It's an opportunity for a new generation of cultural leaders to network with peers across industries, explore trends, and share new ideas and tools that will affect creative work and the creative community.
Creative Works provides all kinds of arts, culture and heritage workers with a forum for discussion and celebration of the innovative ways that Canada is at the forefront of the global artistic and cultural scene.
The conference is proudly presented by WorkInCulture, Humber School of Creative & Performing Arts, Humber School of Media Studies & Information Technology and Humber School of Community & Social Services.
We host this conference every two years with support from our partners and funders.
The first Creative Works conference on May 12, 2017, was held at the Humber College Lakeshore Campus.
The full-day conference was an opportunity for new and experienced cultural leaders, to explore topics through three general streams: Money and Models, Innovating Work/Space and Leading for the Future.
